I.S.I.S aren't good people, and much as I may support anarchy where a government has soured, I.S.I.S are simply the textbook definition of terrorists. They use fear to assert control... kind of like what a lot of governments are doing these days, haha. The difference is our Governments aren't beheading people in the street, they aren't killing innocents to push an agenda. They aren't crucifying those who speak against them. Killing innocents is for pussies, taking out some evil corporate douchebag, that I could respect. But, just kill em, you don't need to go and fucking crucify them or just, wow.

Here's some dark insight into the reason organizations like I.S.I.S exist, years ago, before 9/11, American troops raided Afghanistan/Saudi Arabia to secure oil, it's only natural resource.

The 9/11 bombings are theorized to be fair revenge, even though they killed a minute fraction of what the US did their innocents.

Dick Cheney, yeah, the dude behind the Halliburton Project, authorized and pushed for the theft of that oil, regardless of the cost. Almost a million people were killed, and for Greed, nothing more.

I see 9/11 as a merciful wake-up call. But that is, assuming it wasn't an inside job. Knowing the breadth of the Saudi-arabian oil robbing, what better way to hide the facts than with a travesty committed from the assumed enemies against America's people? And who cares more about what America does than anyone?

America itself. A scapegoat, an inside job, a severely merciful blow to the pride of the people. If that conspiracy is true... it would certainly be better overshadowed by the I.S.I.S epidemic, made big by the American media, used to extort the citizenry into fear yet again. I.S.I.S are cruel, malicious pieces o' shit. Make no mistake, and they go way too far, and make it very easy to sympathize with anyone but them.

They are a small band of infidels, if they wanted, America could easily dispose of them, but they won't. The media profits too greatly from exacerbating on the stories and evils that I.S.I.S does. How quaint, Greed has led the shepherds astray, and now they are complacent to kill their herd.

I wonder how many ppl from ISIS came to Europe with the refugees (sorry ik most of you can't hear it anymore). I mean they could just throw their IDs in the sea and pretend to be refugees from Syria. This thought is totally scaring me... It was so obvious that the Paris incident was ISIS fault. I just can't imagine how they think of ppls lives... But there's nothing else we can do but killing them all off is there?
And sth is pissing me off too, the thing that ppl die everyday in war and nobody's interested. That this Paris thing got around the world is actually bc it was the hardest attack since WW2 so it's understandable. The only "good" thing about this incident is that world finally pays attention to the things that are happening. I hope they'll do something soon...

I've been aware of the World's many problems for a while, can't say I particularly cherish it. But being aware is its own reward, for there's less fear, more just cynicism, which eventually, may lead to better things.

Reeling this topic back on track as instructed by our MIT Amysaurus, old news already but to update this thread, Paris attacks Syria in retaliation. One thing to note is that they probably have no problem with bombing them back. Of all people to attack, you attack the guys that at one point, where on top of their shit. Not to mention that they practically dislike everyone else. (No offence to any French people here. More or less of a joke.)

I saw many refugees apologizing and talking that stuff like this happens in Syria daily (probably not with that many ppl but still with suicide bombers). It's good that they finally really do something but i pity the innocent people who died/will die.... It's just terrible.

It is indeed. I know a Muslim couple who, upon hearing about the attacks in Paris, collapsed where they were and (both) started sobbing uncontrollably. And for the first time in their lives were ashamed at what had become of the world. He told me, "An ignorant man leading a blind man is just as dangerous as fanatics who use terror[ism] to justify violence under Allah's banner. Innocent people pay the highest price for this, and then we are compartmentalized into the same box as them." I won't forget that!

I have two good middle-eastern friends that are believers in the muslim faith, they are practical, funny, amazing and hella chill fellas. One of them is an employee of mine, another is a friend on a different forum. One in Pakistan, one in Lebanon.

The western media is at most to blame for the scapegoating of the muslim faith as an insignia of terrorism, but I stopped paying attention to the media after I found the internet, which was long before I.S.I.S was a thing.

But yeah, why France? I mean some of them are pompous cheesy twats but they generally keep to themselves.

I think they publicly stood up to I.S.I.S or something, and if they can, the rest of the world is sure to follow suit. We can't let those Frenchies get all the glory!

You don't want the rest of the world to join in. It is exactly what they want. Glory isn't what it is about nor should it be a reason to fight.

From America's perspective, it's only a reason because America likes to step in and be the heroes. From a business perspective it's a good thing because war is good for business, it is not good for humanity. America will stand by until I.S.I.S. literally comes over and bombs them, which is the worst idea because America's gun population is larger than most of the non major countries combined.

Here's a very interesting article. We've been in a global war - notably with terrorism in its many forms - for decades. People are wary, perhaps even isolationist, and more than a little complacent. No one wants another actual World War, but that's exactly how it's starting to unfold. The attacks on Paris - as horrifying as they are - are only a precursor of what's to come.
