I think the site is great! I like that everyone on the site is very helpful and that the site is organized. I would like to see some better requirements for uploading resources like mandatory screenshots and such. But overall you guys are doing a fantastic job.

I want this to be the official go through for MV stuff. From resources, discussions and maybe second side support. The community is growing and I think it's a good thing that everything is going on smoothly. When someone uses MV, it'd be good if their number one stop for discussions, ideas, requests or any kind of support would be here. I am sure that there's a lot of people willing to help. I also like it here because it isn't so crowded and isn't full of drama.

3 Things that can improve the website

I. Instead of mixing all the resources together, make a section to the resources we like

II. make a curator-esque system like ones on steam where an author, or user can recommend which type of resources they prefer, like example a group name "City based" they would recommend things like tileset, art, resources and plugins for a City themed game.

III. Make a top 10 author of the month/year/whatever to highlight the dedicated author/user of the website.

Conclusion

I think the website is great, there are things to improve, but there are also no things to complain, so in the end... yeah I got nothing to complain

That was my first day on the forum. After learning more about the forum
I must say, that everyone is very friendly and nice.

I just wish there are something to encourage downloaders to give
review or feedback, maybe badges or there are resources that are free,
but you must pay with a review or feedback, this way an amateur ( Like me) can
learn his weakness and improve on it.

If you guys need more funding, that's totally fine, but shoving it in our faces isn't the way to go. If you want to show that this is a community worth investing in, start holding more events, have more benefits to donating, give more members a chance to be in the spotlight, etc. Don't tell us that you are worth the money - show it!

I appreciate the bluntness, and that's what this post is here for to start getting ideas on what we should do to better help the development, and community of the site. Myself, as well as the rest of the staff are hard at work working on some things to do that will increase the community cooperation with one another :)

After reading (most) of the other replies to this topic, I think I tend to agree with the things they said.

Ads I can live with - they are a necessary evil in the digital age. I do have to say that I like the fact that there is only like 1 or 2 add placement spots and they don't fill half the screen, and therefore, half the site.

I've only been on a short amount of time, but I'm loving the site and the community. Keep up the great work, oh mystical and magical rulers behind the scenes. *bows*

This is one of the first RPG maker sites I've joined since my long time away from RPG Maker, the last time I had been active in RM was when RMXP Postality Knights Enhanced Edition was a thing, and buying RPG Maker in english was not a thing. I like that we have a friendly community here and that the forums are well organized, And moderation seems to be well handled.

I'm personally not too fond of The resource thing we have going on. It's great that people can upload and share their resources, but sometimes you REALLY have no idea what your going to get out of it, so I feel there needs to be some form of moderation with it, or the form for uploading to it should have Mandatory feilds for a resource image/screenshot or something so that Users of the site can see what they are getting.

As for the forums themselves, they look like trash on smaller screen resolutions, with components over lapping each other. Not a huge issue, but I often use my tablet for web browsing and forum stuff, since I don't have the space right now to multi monitor my desktop when working.

As for suggestions, perhaps some kind of events would be nice. To get and keep peoples attention with the site and the community in general.

lol yeah probably xD I dont know, I even joined here on phone and it was all good till some update. Then it suddenly had scaling issues and such but its not too long ago since it acts like this

Wow! Yea, viewing the site mobile phone became not so friendly. I wish I could help but I'm not so great at web development allI can do is take screenshots lol.

These 2 screenshots show that on the mobile phone( Galaxy s5 ) it's no longer constrained to a single column it's like an element is reaching beyond the 100%width mark.

Users will have to scroll down, and manually change the theme to the mobile theme. And then manually change back upon logging into the desktop. It isn't the most efficient, but the best thing I can do at this moment. So, this theme won't be affected at all.
