I prefer computer on the left side, as well. It's just the current location of my desk makes it less feasible, with my door being to the left of my computer. I'd be bumping into it all the time when rotating my chair. (tongue)

I agree with @Forgottensage. From personal experience, I find a forum more inviting when the staff, admins included, all engage in the conversations as peers. To me, when a forums staff focuses on the moderation side of things too much it makes me feel like they care more about their positions...
