Very true. I honestly didn't put the yearly fees into account either. I tie it into paying with hosting, domains, etc. so I forget that it is it's own separate thing. on a side note: the English language can be weird sometimes.

If you have after effects, and don't want to spend too much time and effort making things yourself you can buy pre-made stuff on themeforest. I've used them quite a bit for some of my work.

@Required https://www.woltlab.com this is something I just came across. You can pay for some things, but the core product itself seems free. It's a forum/community software with built in SMS. Seems like something worth checking out, and honestly looks like a better alternative to MyBB or PHPbb.

How does that go over for you? I don't think I've ever actually opened up the forum same day without a lot of content, and posting packages, etc. I tend to try and have at least 100 messages before promotion.

The forum isn't just rpg maker anymore. As well as you can change the background and everything to a lighter theme. Everything of mine was merged into one centralized website. This is why it no longer says rpg maker and instead says Xyphien. I appreciate your post and you voicing your opinions...

The current theme is the brand new theme. It was just released not even a month ago :) There's a lot of new features on it, and it makes it so you don't really need any new themes. There's even an option to switch from light to dark mode.

That can lead to some copyright infringements, and a few other things. I will be making it so you can add a banner above your name, and other profile customization :D

I've done this a lot to be honest. Before the merge I had a webmaster website that was geared around teaching people to be a webmaster, having tips, tricks, and other things I've found over 10 years of experience. I called that Webmaster.College I've used DnDTable.Top for a D&D Tabletop website.

Only three forum softwares I know that are free. MyBB, phpBB, and Forumotion. I haven't seen or heard of any new ones that have come out.

Huh, I never thought of it that way to be honest. Though I tend to host events where the four people I think would make a good mod are chosen. And they run campaigns to see who the community votes for.

I have around 200 games, and as of now there won't be an option to buy from the list as it's proven to fail in the past. Either by forgetting to update it, or deleting the wrong items, etc. It caused a lot of trouble having that. As for the shop page in the navigation, I'll look into adding this :D
