I like the idea and have thought about doing something like this myself. After having worked in the 'industry' a bit and seeing several indie teams form and branch out I've become really interested in what I like to call "the development of the development" haha. Of course, I'm in the same boat...

Much appreciated. No rush. This was just something I came across while playing some Final Fantasy games late at night... Did you find that this was doable? Just checking because I've been tinkering with creating items and I'm not sure what route to take with them.

A map we did for the starting scene. Mountains to the North, Swamp/Forest to the East, Volcanic area to the West (main area for 1st game) and the South will hold a surprise. No parallax here...not quite there yet so it is all RTP.

Yep! That's what I'm doing with my two daughters ages 9 and 12. They both enjoy mapping and creating characters. My oldest is going to learn some coding out of this ordeal, LoL. Youngest is learning Photoshop also.

Exactly how I have it setup. The healing works but the YEP_ItemCore plugin cannot display the info correctly is what I meant.

Ah! But unless I've missed something the stats do not show up in Yanfly's ItemCore because no effect is given to the item within the database. Workaround? Or nope?
