@MinisterJay I suppose some backgrounds will be better for different resolutions. The MV-Tan backgrounds work much better on 1080p and above resolutions, probably even more so on those 21:9 ultra widescreen monitors.

Let's see if I am able to create something :DHello MVers! With the new theme on we now have the option to have customizable backgrounds. Currently we have 7, and we're trying to add more. This is your chance to be creative! All members for the next x amount of time (I haven't decided, and it might be an ongoing thing) can submit their custom made backgrounds for the chance to have it up as a background for everyone to use. This background must be made by you.
The minimum dimensions consist of: 1920x1080p
My guess is we are allowed, as long as it's not used for a background anywhere outside of rmmv.co. Just a guess though, Xyphien will clarify for us I'm sure.@Xyphien are we allowed to use things like the official logo for the bg or is it not allowed since it isn't completely made by ourself then ?
I really like it :) I'll add it here soon! Thank you for taking the time to make it :DOkay so I fixed the color profile on my laptop and I gave my background image another go, I brightened it up some and added the RMMV.co logo as a pattern in the red color. I'm still unsure if it's too dark because my laptop is he only thing I have to look through at the moment, that being said I'm not trying to make it too bright, it is for a dark them after all.
To see it in action on the website check out my profile page.

Of course :) Feel free to use the logo for any event on our forums :D@Xyphien are we allowed to use things like the official logo for the bg or is it not allowed since it isn't completely made by ourself then ?
Rendered? As in, via C4D or something?Ugh! I tried creating one, but my computer crashed when it was 80% rendered! Maybe I'll try again!![]()
Ah, I had to do a double-take as I wondered how you were "rendering" from Photoshop or something lol@HotfireLegend I use Daz 3D Studio mostly, but also Bryce. And I'm presently looking at Pixar's RenderMan.
Haha! Technically, the final image HAS been "rendered". I do use GIMP and Photoshop as well for extra things as needed (I prefer GIMP).I wondered how you were "rendering" from Photoshop or something lol
