I've written short stories and a few poems and ONE essay for a few digest mags. Nothing important or monetarily useful, but it helped pay for some chips back in the 90s! :D The only genre stuff I've written was light Sci-Fi and Horror. I really haven't written anything other than a few outlines...

My biggest problem is with copying and pasting events. In the game I'm currently working on, I have enemy encounters as events and I spent a day having to redo them all because I erroneously believed they were instances and NOT the same objects. I'm now using that as an effect in my overworld...
