What I'd like to see:

  • Day/Night, Parallax, Light Source, et al.
  • HUD with calendar date and area name on-screen.
  • QTE-style combo system where attacks have a QTE option to create combos.
  • A Pop-Up Map feature that shows where you are in a map graphic.
  • A skill-based d20-style interaction system, where the characters have a set number of attributes (STR, INT, CHA, and so on) and when something needs to be interacted with, a d20 is rolled, an appropiate attribute modifier is added, and the result is compared to a targer Difficulty Class. Results will have effects in gameplay.
    • I'll be working on this last one.

I like all those ideas. I am also curious about the performancr of lighting scripts. I hope there is a big difference .

I would like to see a plug in/script that can enable you to make sim games like managing your own restaurant~ petshop~ and other stuff which involves decorating your own house, building~ It would be mind blowing if someone managed to create a Clash of Clans like plug-in where you develop a city and ward off AI attackers ^~^

That would be very useful. I would love to see this it would bring a nice new vibe to rm games.

I'm probably going to work on a battle system that works like the Fire Emblem series. It might take a bit to get used to the framework but in theory it shouldn't be too difficult.

Auto Battle for certain party member (ie: you control one character and the others auto battle)
Time/date (this can be done via variables and events but it would be easier to have a script)

Another thing I'd love to see is names above objects. When you hover over a tree, you can set it to say Tree, or over a monster you can have it say "Rate" something like that. It's available in Ace, example:

I thought of another script I think would awsome to have a script that has a cellphone sorta system, or more like instant pop messages that show up on bottom of screen giving you hints as well as important information. You can then utilize this script to insert your tutorials, and update quest logs, etc etc.

A script to decrease the size of sprites (really handy in world maps) and a logo screen script (for better presentation)
Wouldn't that cause resizing issues, graphically?
The sprites would become blurry or messed up.

I think a script to change the game resolution would be grand.

I wanna see a script that enables you to put in actual Stat values to skill descriptions such as:

Let's say the skill is called Fireball and it's description says Deals 50 + (120% MATK) to a single target.

If the script is present, it will not show 120% MATK on the description but rather the exact stat value of the character wielding the skill. If the character has 100MATK, the skill description will say Deals 50 + (120) to a single target :3

It would be also nice if the number in the () can be colored~ like if ATK is red while MATK is blue~ ^~^
