What inspires you?

whether it's inspiration for a story, game, song, picture or anything else... what inspires you?

lately, I've been having trouble getting inspired for story ideas, and I guess I just have writer's block. usually music, watching anime or playing games inspires me, but now... I dunno. just not feelin' it lately and it's super annoying!

how do you guys combat a creative block? what inspires you?

Everytime my creativity is clogged, DJ khaled clears my mind.

Whenever I get writer's block (which is so often I could ironically write a book on it!), I usually sit somewhere quiet or noisy. Notebook in hand. And jot down observations. Anything of interest: events, snippets of conversation, even things that appear odd or out of place. When I get home, I set the notebook aside and do something else. Subconsciously, the mind will still play on what you observed and wrote and usually something inspired does become of it.
