Using assets from other versions of RPG Maker?

Would I be allowed to use assets (I'm mostly talking about the music and sound effects) from other versions of RPG Maker that I have purchased? So, for example, would I be allowed to use music from both RPG Maker XP and VX Ace (both of which I've purchased and legitimately own copies of) in my RPG Maker MV game?

Yes You Will Be Able To ! under helpful resources, i posted a re sizer. that will help you convert those graphics for mv use, even the rtp!! so something you should check out if your intrested of course !

I've been told by others that, even if I purchase RPG Maker, I won't be able to use its assets in another game development program (say, Game Maker), as stipulated in the user agreement. So, I just wanted to make sure it was okay to use assets among different versions of RPG Maker.

Yup as long as it's purchased you should be okay, I know you can use XP and VX tiles in Ace as long as you have purchased XP and VX, I don't see why it would be different for MV.

the devs already confirmed you can use anything you bought that works in rpg maker , dlc, faces, rtp, ect. if you legally own it you can use it BUT only in rpg maker.. so yes you can't use it in game maker. it's inside your licences files in those folders. you can also make games that sell with those product's as long as you purchased it and if questioned can provide proof in-case anything goes wrong.

So long as you legally own them, you can use RPGmaker resources across any RPGmakers. This includes DLC you've purchased.
