Hey~
Just realized that the "link" (i dont know how to call these things but you surely know what im talking about, these headlines for home, forums, etc in the main bar) advertising appeared. I don't really care about it but could we change it's current place, fe switch it with Members? I mean it's because the forum itself is about rpg maker and I think it's kind of weird when Advertising comes in front of Resources, Blogs, Members, etc since these sections are more important for this forum.

It's nothing important although it somehow bothers me :/ Not like it's a bad thing and should be removed but i think it's less significant than the other links. I just noticed it because it kinda gets really crowded, atleast for my laptop's resolution. That's what it currently looks like


I'm asking YOU ALL what you think about this and if you think we should change it or leave it as it is? It's also of importance if it's even possible of course XD This whole thread here is just what I'm currently thinking about it.

(And I have an offtopic question; what does "More Permissions" on the Premium Page mean? Just link me where it says what it does)

I agree, I believe advertising should be at the end with donate. The more important things are forum related stuff, I'm curious what will happen to the advertisement button when the new wiki rolls in, it will be way to cramped I think.
@Xyphien what are your plans for the nav bar?

The whole advertising thing was added when I installed an addon to get the site displayed on another site, and to possibly help get more revenue for updates like the wiki, etc. I'm working on getting the link in the navigation removed currently. So, that will not be there hopefully here soon.

As for the rest, It's been that way for a long time, and I don't really see much of a point in changing it to be honest.

I've always felt like the top bar of this site was too crowded. Home, Forums, Resources, Members, Blogs, are all fine with me, but a lot of the rest looks far too cluttered.

You can find Badges by hovering over your name, so that's unnecessary. Advertising, Donate, and Premium could all be grouped under "Support Us" or something similar, because right now it screams we need money as much as "Invite Friends" screams we need more activity.

...has it? I remember that invite friends is rather "new" and that premium was under donate (might also be wrong but thats how I remember). Idk, I agree with Amy
