Just setting my own Introduction here. I've been wanting to make my own RPG for some time, and have dabbled with VXA when it was on sale from Steam. I wanted to use the next version of RPG Maker when I get serious in doing so, which is what MV is. I'm in the process of getting it pre-ordered at this time, and the previous of the program looks great.
I heard that there is going to be a VXA to MV converter, if so, I'd like to start making some maps in VXA ahead of time and then convert them over, if that's possible.
My RM MV projects will begin with a couple fan-work projects, set in my customized D&D Forgotten Realms to fill in some missing spaces between campaigns that I'm the Dungeon Master in. Since I have no intention on selling them or do anything above posting them here (and on my own web page for free) and I'll be labeling it as "an educational project" to learn RPG Maker, I'm sure it'll fall into "Fair Use Laws". I can discuss how the laws stands later. My third project, Revolver Princess, and is listed in my Game Idea subsite (https://sites.google.com/site/foxstudiosgames/ ) and will be meant for sale.
There are some ideas I wanted to share with on where I'd like to go with RPG Maker, and I'll put it elsewhere once I get settled into the forum. I do hope that people will create tilesets and Character Maker additions like what they did with the previous versions.
I look forward to hearing with you all and hope that our MV projects go well :)
