Sad to leave

Hi guys--

I am going to miss all of you. I had really hoped to be able to dig deep into this community and my game, but taking on a newborn has eaten up all my time and I have to make hard choices about my time. While I deal with him learning to self-soothe and get into a better schedule, I have decided to step down as Writing Team Leader and basically slip away until a time when I have the ability to actually plant myself in front of my computer and get to be creative in this way.

Ugh, this sucks. Being an adult is hard. I really do think I'll be back. One of my bucket list things is to create a game and I don't plan on letting that fall to the wayside.

Sadly, I never had a chance to meet you, but once I heard a child was involved in your life, I figured that this would happen. Being a mom is hard work! Best of wishes to you and your family.

It's sad to see you go, but I completely understand the reasoning behind the choice. I hope to see you back some day when you feel you are able to rejoin us. Until then, enjoy your life and that of your new child. =)

@Cate : As you enter this new chapter in your life, I pray blessing upon your life. I appreciate the leadership example you gave us on the Writing Team. Do what you need to do for yourself, and your family. Take care of yourself, and your family. When a new different season occurs, the direction of the wind changes, and then, maybe then, we will be privileges by your presence again.
