I wouldn't say it's a waste of time. If it comes back as a "no", you've still created some stuff. Looking at what you have created should be a good motivator to keep going.

I was trying to enhance the original story as much as I can, also RPG Maker MV is way better than RPG Maker 2003

Oof, I may have to drop out of the contest. Basically we have a very lucrative contract coming in and it's going to be very high priority. If I do end up having to drop out I'll at least try to release some scripts to help the competitors.

I did the same thing. Luckily I only lost a month, but I restarted from scratch. I love Yanfly & Galv.

Sucks to be me, I only started this April. But it will be a quick job for me, It's just the quality that won't make a huge difference from usual games from beginner creators. And I'm a beginner with a lot of stories in mind.
