Soul submitted a new resource:

Retain Level on Class Change - Retains the level you are in even when you class change.

SOUL_MV Retain Level on Class Change
Author: Soulpour777

Plugin Description:

Whenever you change class, it feels like a cheat when you change class and return to level 1 after so much time grinding for experience when you are on the other level. I don't like that. This snippet plugin allows you to retain your level when you change class from an event.

Author's Note:
I am just bored and I am out of ideas to make, so I just did this for a whim.

Definitely something that will come in handy (My project I'm working on involves a lot of class changing/tranformations, so I'd definitely put this to use!) I'ma have to check your terms for it though heh xP so I can make sure to abide by those. Nice plugin for sure!

@Boy Who Codes The download link to Retain Level on Class Change is gone. Can you reenable the download link to the plugin? I'm in desperate need of keeping levels regardless of changing class.
Yeah maybe plugin links have been disabled lately. I hope they get them fixed up! These guys have done amazing work and it would be a shame to see it disappear like that.

Alternatively, if you're changing classes through eventing, you can retain levels that way when switching. I thought a Yanfly plugin did the same (Class Core I think?) where there was an option for it but I can't remember off hand on that one. But if you can't get this plugin, then there are a few options that can be done to achieve the same effect through common events and Yanfly's button/image common events. Not as pretty, but it is functional and does the same thing in the end.

Oh yeah, Yanfly's Class Change Core. It even has the option to Maintain levels but the weird thing is that when you set the parameter as "true", every class is going to have each others skills even when you have a notetag set for just 1 class, something probably unintended in Yanfly's plugin.

Yeah, the only way to avoid the skills thing is to make each set their own type and have that class give access to that "type". The reason it shows them all is because it records them as already learned for the type. So if I have two classes using "Tekniques" and both are level 5 with 2 skills, I'll end up seeing 4 skills because they're learned and the same type. So I would have to make two types be the exact same name to give the illusion that both are "Tekniques" but in reality it's Teknique1 and Teknique2. It's not perfect, but having more types doesn't actually effect anything so it works once you get it all set up properly. I'm not sure why that was never changed though since I'm sure it's unintentional too.
