Hello everyone, it's finally time to announce the prompt contest winners~ but first I must apologize for the delay; it has been a crazy week. >_<

Anyway!

Sure thing, I'll let the other judges know that you'd like some feedback on yours. I know one of our judges is currently a little busy due to real life issues, but hopefully he'll be able to message you soon!

As for me, I've been sick this week so my feedback is probably going to be short and sweet, hope that's okay.

Next time, I'd like a writing contest allowing at least 12 full pages long... I like too deep and somewhat long-winded stories with very descriptive events.

I must agree that I would enjoy a contest where we asked for longer stories; however, this contest was planned by our old Writing RT Leader, Cate. I had nothing to do with it. xD The responsibility was simply passed to me once I became the new leader.

I'm sure we'll have more writing contests in the future though, if there is enough interest. =)

Thanks! If I recall that was when I was listening to a certain theme a lot and crying into a vat of ice cream and tissues, a lot of my inspiration is helped by music, and in part experiences which music helped create.

I confess I didn't expect to win, I mean yeah I guess I'm a good writer but I also felt like I may have been vastly underestimating my competition as I was basing their works a lot on their posts, I also felt bias towards me as I had become a figure of controversy at that stage may effect it some.

Writing might also be one of the subjects I have a lot of self-humility about. Like, I absolutely despise my old writing to a degree my disposition with my old artwork doesn't nearly endeavor upon. I'm also always unsure of myself when I write, there's always the question of 'will this make sense to someone who isn't me?' or 'will this carry the same effect to others that it does me?'.


Not sure why, but that's just how I sorta work, I guess!

Reading your work, had no bias in judgment. I did not know who wrote what, with exception of my own piece. Yours was the best out of six.

There can be no bias in the writing world, friend! All our contests will be 100% bias-free; entries judged on skill and creativity alone. :)

All contests period will be bias-free. If you win, you win, fair and square. The only thing we look at is if you're qualified for the contest (Meet the requirements/rules), and how well you do/did in the contest/event.
