Japanese Title Suggestion: 化石の騎士、ぼくはきみにダブする!!
Romaji: Kaseki no Kishi, boku wa kimi ni dabu suru!!
Translation: "I now dub you, Fossil Knight!!"

Basic Concept: Similar to Fossil Fighters but with many significant differences, such as it being an IOS game, having a Castle Defense Battle System, as well as the process of obtaining fossils is changed from pulling it out of the rock into digging it out of the ground!

Here is a list and definition for each mechanic:

  1. X-K4V8 - A bionic tool device that aids in digging out fossils, marketing and transferring fossils as well as being attached to your back (like, in a sense, a backpack).
  2. Sonar - A special radar used for picking up areas of fossils that are decent enough for digging out of the ground.
  3. Digging - A process that distinguishes this game from the Fossil Fighters series, which is digging the fossil directly out of the ground in which it lies (instead of collecting the rocks and bringing them to a certain place to extract the fossils inside).
  4. Inaccessible Areas - You can now dig for fossils in what seems to be impossible to reach places, such as deep bodies of water, and/or steep cliffs!
  5. Manual Excavation System - The system that is installed in X-K4V8, provides the tools you need to dig out fossils, as well as help you access the inaccessible!
  6. Shovel - The game's parallel to the drill in Fossil Fighters series. It is used for digging out the soft parts of the debris.
  7. Pick Ax - The game's parallel to the hammer, and is used for piercing through tough parts of the ground (including rocks and sediment)
  8. Gold, Silver and Bronze Fossils - These can be used to max out your creature's full potential!
  9. Battles for Digging Spots - Sometimes, a PaleoSquire might come around and say that his sonar picked up the spot first and will challenge you for whoever gets it for themselves!
  10. Fossil Storage Department - Similar to a bank, accept it stores all the fossils you plan to use for reviving prehistoric animals as well as evolving them!
  11. Jewels and other Treasures - Sell these to gain loads of gold!
  12. Transfer Fossils - Whenever you buy a fossil from the Market, it takes several minutes to prepare them to be sent to your F.S.D. (Fossil Storage Department).
  13. Coprolites - Trade these preserved poop fossils to get extra-special rewards.
  14. Time Ups - A consumable item to increase the amount of time you have by 20 if you have less than a minute and 10 seconds to finish digging out the fossil/jewel.
  15. Breaker Probes - A series of consumable items used for searching for weak points in the earth beneath your feet.
  16. Directs - Special skills used in the Battle System, which can be taken from either the player or the dinosaurs they possess.
  17. PaleoArmor Customization - The fossil market does not only sell fossils and consumable items, you can also get add-ons to your armor in which you use for battle against other PaleoSquires.
  18. XP Boosts - There are several special items based around giving your creatures extra XP to quickly increase their stage.
  19. X-K4V8 Upgrades - At a high price, you might need certain updates/reboots for X-K4V8's ability to aid you in digging.
  20. Splicers - Consumable items used for making hybrid species. Say if you had a Triceratops and Stegosaurus, then you can easily use a splicer to create a Stegoceratops!
  21. Incubators - Consumable items used for incubating eggs you have found in the wild. Eggs can be located in certain areas within Dig Sites.
  22. Food - The second currency that you use to (obviously) feed your creatures.
  23. Genomes - The third currency that is used to create and/or splice your creatures.
  24. Fossil Turn-in - This is where you transfer your fossils for creature creation.
  25. Evolution - The process that sends your creatures to greater heights of strength, which can be done with Gold, Silver, and Bronze Fossils.
  26. Hybrids - As mentioned in splicers mechanic, Hybrids are a combination of two or more creatures, which does require a certain amount of Genomes to create.
  27. Stages - Instead of levels or ranks, their Stages are what dignify how powerful they are comparing to other creatures.
  28. Base Stats - Every creature has a basic set of Statistics, which are Strength, Armor, Special, Agility.
But, for an mmorpg, that's just to name a few...
I am currently looking for advice on what resources to use for reference.
Let me know in the comments what you, as a member in the community, who are interested in this project and are willing to help anyone in need. The best way possible is acceptable, thank you for your interest.

OH YEAH DINOSAURS
Concept sounds fun. Did you start working on this or is it just an idea? Also, do you have any idea about the art/music or are you still pondering?

Well, I'm currently working on it. However, I'm currently looking for help on where to find good resources as well as scripting and event ideas. The main problem I'm currently working on is the Digging Scene that takes place when you dig out fossils and/or jewels.

I'm currently developing a sprite for the T. Rex battler graphic. I'll show you my progress.T. Rex.png
So, tell me what you think. If not authentic, give me a suggestion in the thread...

I finally came out with the use of Blender 2.76 to create an Anomalocaris Battler Graphic. Here it is:
