Nice forum you got here.

It would be a shame if someone... posted in it. e ve
Anyways.

Name's Marion, and I've been lurking around the community for a few years now. I've basically been playing around with the various RPG Maker engines the entire time, and only now have I finally got a fairly solid concept and the skills to execute game making. Buuuut programming is far from my forte, so to the RPG Maker engine I go!

Welcome to the land of posting! There are a lot of programmers on here that can help you, even if they can't program it themselves people on here just seem to know plugins that solve your issues.

No worries on that front, have you planned your project out as a note?

Oh yes, I've seen some of the plugins on here and they are lovely. <3 The introduction of Javascript has really made it quite a bit more accessible, it seems.

I haven't gotten it fleshed out, but I've got it conceptualized and about a quarter of it written down. (I think things and then forget to write them, ehehehe.) It's a bit of an abstract notion, so I'm still not sure how to put that into plot, but hopefully I'll get there. c:

Might want to grab your self a pad of paper small enough to fit in your pocket. It's what I do, then if I get an idea I write it down and review it when I sit at my computer.

Maybe help you although not everyone is like that.

Hi @sinfulGurotesque . Welcome to the community. Even though, we can make awesome games, with what comes in plain MV, it is awesome with what we can do with the resources that others have made for us, in this forum. We have over 700 Resource, with over 200 Plugins. looking forward to seeing you around the forum.

Thanks for the welcome, sage and Jay! :D

@LordBones: Hehe, that's typically what I do. A lot of the time I end up scrapping ideas because they're so far-fetched or cliche, lmao. Though, I have found that yWriter is incredibly helpful for organizing my notes, so I don't have a dozen text documents laying around.
