Hello Members,
Im certainly new to game creation but looking forward to the challenge. I dont know how much time I'll be able to put into it all at once what with work and all but long projects are just fine with me. How difficult is this for a beginner?

Hey there Josh, welcome aboard! RPG Maker is nice because it's fairly simple to ease into a project after playing around with options for a day or so. you can be as simple or complex as you wish, so there's always room for improvement.

there are a lot of nice people here who can probably answer any questions you have and help with any problems you run into, so feel free to ask away! ^_^

RPG Maker is simple if you want to make a base RPG with the existing resources. Everyday is going to always a learning experience, however!
