Hello everyone!!

This seems to be a great community, I'm looking forward to know more about everyone's projects :)

Although I work as a professional graphic designer, lately I've been toying around with the idea of developing a game just for fun. The idea is to basically use the story I have in mind to learn as much as possible while I translate it to a game using RPGMaker MV.

I finally decided to buy RPGMMV yestarday when I saw an awesome discount in Steam, and since I use a Mac, I can at last start playing around!

Hi Ekuseru!

I'm new here too! I am an RPG MAKER fan since version 95. MV is sure a powerful beast. I'm sure your ideas will find it's way through this maker in no time once you find the right material/resources.

My suggestion: if it is your first game, keep it small and simple. Use the out-of-the-box functions. Once you dominate them, go for the plugins! (Helps to create a sandbox project just for feature testing purposes.) Then, implement your game.

Have a nice game making!

Hi Heion, thanks for your welcome! Wow it's been a while I see. I've been following since Ace but never attempted to start any actual game since I didn't have a clear idea on where to start. Now it's a really simple but powerful tool and I already understand the basics, but your advice makes a lot of sense, it's so easy to get carried away by your first game. You want it to have everything you envision in a perfect RPG...

Welcome Adam! What is your experience with RPG Maker? Are you currently working in any project?
I helped a buddy a few years ago to make his long time desire of an RPG on RPG Maker XP.
I recently got the RPG Maker MV, so I'm taking my time to get familiar with the new system. I particularly like the fact you can port the game over to apps for iPhone and Android. That was a particular feature I was really excited about.
