Trying to recreate what another member had tilesets do, I messed up mine in my latest project. Thankfully, I had NOT saved it yet, so I exited without saving. Rebooted MV, and my maps were back to normal.

Today, I added a special weapon for my heroine.
It has no status because its power will grow with my heroine's growth.

I have not been here for a few days, but I still been working on my project daily. Yesterday I had no mouse so I decided to focus on writing out the story and getting more detailed, I plan on continuing my story today and gets much as I can done before proceeding to eventing the rest of my game. I also recolored a few trees and grass tiles for 'Sock Heaven/Land" I plan on recoloring every tile in the set so I can develop an entirely different world and make new maps. I must admit I never knew how big of a project SQ was going to be, but it went from a 1hour game to at least 3hours in my head, hence why I'm writing everything down, I need to make sure I got no plot holes etc lol.

Oh fun thread lol.

Today I added a lot of thing to my project! Starting with the rest of Cross' first city, I made all the buildings enterable except one, but that's used for an exit to something cool. Inside of the smithy/item shop I brought life to the two shopkeepers! The smith will now move around making swords and placing them in his shop and the item shopkeeper will just roam and read books and dust off their goods. I thought that was something cool to add so made it happen, since I never really see that much life in shopkeepers. Aside from that, I've added an Aqueduct system for this same city that the player will have to explore into and fight against vile creatures for the Herald of the great city.

Started working on the world map. More like "yeah, no clue where to start with this game, so let's just draw some pixels and see what comes out". Some parts are great. Some parts are clueless. Will definitely like feedback when it's at least mostly filled (be patient, peoples...).

Also got three new map sections added into my project today. Been a pretty productive one!
[doublepost=1453478416,1453424446][/doublepost]Welp, today I've added in another chain of events for the female Cross' storyline. This will allow for her to continue her quest into the aqueducts! Other than that, I changed a couple small things to better connect the characters and story.

I did some more writing last night for SQ, and today I'm working on some requests by others and later today i want tp finish up my plugins for the RT in hopes I can clear it up and dedicate rest of my time to SQ. The good news is I'm off work for the weekend so lots of time to spend some one on one time with RM developing.

I have multiple projects going on at the same time, so one of them is going to get some attention. On one I modified the wording to make it more appropriate for a younger audience.

I am currently defining what kinds of project to start on. Since I am still new to MV and the rest, It's better for me to play around with the program. Getting my thoughts organize before starting a world of agonizing projects should be sufficient enough. I guess that sums it up for now.

Gotta start somewhere right xP Usually begins with an idea that you think you can pursue all the way! Personally I get the start down and generate ideas according to what I started so it all flows together heh. (I usually start with the main character design and work from there with the first map, once that's down it's pretty easy from there out if you're a creative thinker)


As for my project, today I'm adding in 6 maps and a chain of events leading to the 4th Lumminai Herald, Narii. She'll put the Cross character through a series of crazy tests in order to gain her trust (ending of course with a brutal fight). That will officially make the first party of 4 complete when all is done. Other than that, I think I'm gonna make a few new character to add to the NPC cast, since it's so limited lol. Also, today I'm finishing up my dragon wing gen parts too!

I... uh... I added some of my music into an empty project to check if it loops right. Does that count? I don't really have a game in the works. Maybe I should start making one... Especially with this thread keeping everyone motivated to add at least something every day or so. :3

It does work lol. Maybe you can do something absurd like a "musical" game haha that'd be great. jk. But yeah it's fun making a game and this thread does keep everyone on it wanting to add more or something everyday at least. xD I know it does me!
