Ahhh, did the update really brings up that much of a problem? Man, and i'm almost halfway on updating it XD might have to make a halt on the update for a while then until there's good news in the air.

I just tested the update and ran on many many problems. I'm staying on 1.2. I am not sold with the encryption thing, I can just find a free third party software that can do that for me instead.

I've not tried the encryption, but judging from the comments floating around I'm not completely sold either. I may experiment with an old project. As far as "broken" plugins because of this update, quite a few. I'm updating mine to 1.3, but may just keep the 1.2 versions around a bit longer.

I'll be happier with the encryption when I don't have to manual fix it for each release, for as long as 1.3 was in the works I kinda feel like that shouldn't have slipped past them. And I've seen something about the Mac export even with encryption on pushes the mp4 and ogg into the project anyway...? I dunno I haven't tried to deploy for mac simply because I don't own a mac to test it on.

I am however cautiously Optimistic that they will be on top of this. SO hopefully 1.3.1 hotfix in the near future? :D

Update destroyed my game, I have went back to 1.2 and with help from Brandos got my game working smooth again. So much lag using parallax maps and pixi4.

I managed to kill a lot of the lag by doing some of the things you told me Brandos but in the end I had to remove Terrax lighting and it became playable again. Though my maps have really suffered as a result which sucks. Guess the plugin will need an update or the 1.3.1 update better be a big improvement. Otherwise I'll be finishing my game on 1.2.

Well their looking to get the next update out within a week, Source: Archeia on rpgmakerweb forums. So that will be of course bugfixing work. But your still going to need to wait for a terrax lighting update simply because it relies on the previous implementation of pixi.js

Either way, I'm happy with how things are going. if people are that bothered the option to stick with 1.2 till 1.3.1 is there and we've waiting 4+ months, we can wait another week to iron out a few bugs.
