If it makes you feel any better, I too "majored" in geography but dropped it, I have not found another use besides game mapping for what I learnt, since :P

Yeah, I went two years without a relevant job... but fortunately now I've landed in a map library (largely in thanks due to my computer science pursuit, too). 8)

I was refering the fact that this knowledge was giving you an edge about mapping haha
