Maybe not for an RPG Maker game. But in a game like Skyrim where looping music isn't really an issue, I think this could work really well. Just to create the atmosphere. :)Thanks. Yes, strong western RPG elements. After studying games and music from a developer perspective, yes-- it is not tailored for a game.
Oh, wow... that's the kind of stuff that makes me keep going, you know. Eventually being able to do something like that... that's why I keep on practicing. ^_^Chris Muggli-Miller - yes, he has a 6 year music degree and quite a fabulous studio.
His orchestration of Lunar: Eternal Blue even got Noriyuki Iwadare's attention. He sent him an email telling him how touching his orchestration was. Chris got skill. hehe
Yes. It's mostly balance of life / work. If you can sustain momentum with your desires and rekindle your passion. Workflow is so important in production and progress.Maybe not for an RPG Maker game. I have not. Not yet anyway. I wanted to make a game myself that uses exclusively my music. So far, everyone's been telling me I'm talented and that my work is "amazing" but no one ever used my music or had me compose a track for a project. Don't know why. Might be because people like to use the stuff made by the "professionals". :PKaimen, I've been listening to your compositions. You have more than enough talent. Have you done any official work for any games?
I'm putting your music in my Sock Quest game. So cheer up lol you got skills.I have not. Not yet anyway. I wanted to make a game myself that uses exclusively my music. Pfft. I won't stop making music just because no one's using it. I got way too much fun composing. It's not my problem if people don't want awesome music in their games. XDI'm putting your music in my Sock Quest game. So cheer up lol you got skills.
I think you're right there. I'm constantly underestimating my skill and generally shy away of recruitment threads and all that because I always tell myself that there's someone better than me who can make the music. Which is, admittedly, very stupid of me to think. It's a personal trait of mine I need to overcome. A bit more confidence will do the trick. I think once I made a soundtrack for a game that actually releases, my confidence will be boosted to the moon and beyond. :DThe caliber of music you are making it sounds like you have a special talent for music itself. I'm not saying at all you don't have what it takes to make a game, but I'm just saying maybe since you have so much investment into music itself you could find a director with a programmer and an artist.
