Just saved over $1000 AND am now legit

Someone posted on my FB a link, https://www.humblebundle.com/gamemaker-bundle, and I checked it out. Seen some source code and was like, 'Hey, $15 for source code isnt bad, I have paid more for less. Lemme at it.'

Turns out I got the FULL VERSION of Gamemaker Studio ($800) with it, as well as some bells and whistles....and some source codes.

Gamemaker, I am working on an app that is nearly complete. It will be in the Play Store within a year and will make me very little money, but its mine. I made it. You can too, Gamemaker is easy, active community and it is quite powerful, if you have the desire to make it so.

PS: Its only going on for the next 5 or so days, please dont miss out. Even if you just give the $15 for the games, still a GREAT deal....I am thinking of setting up a second account to get another license, lol

Intrigued by this, I, too, have signed up to this 'bundle'. I have no interest in making commercial games, but, having spent most of my long career in IT and programming, I just like the challenge of 'making things happen'. Too good a bargain to be missed (although I still have no clue as to what this here 'Steam' thing is..! Too old, I suppose.

It takes nothing away from MV to mess about with other stuff, and it's certainly inexpensive as a 'deal'. Good call, I say.

I've used game maker and was not happy with its UI at all. I'll happily pass on this deal as I'll probably never make a game in it. The games would be cool though. Thanks for letting everyone know about this bundle.

Sadly you can't link you Steam account to it and have to download it standalone directly from the website. Which isn't a problem ofc, but I would've loved being able to just run it from steam.

My Gamemaker is just collecting dust. I recommend buying the entire collection when it is on sale for FREE.
