Is there a 'meet the mods' thread?

Hello! I've been looking around and I might have missed it, but I'm wondering if there's something like a 'meet the mods' thread around here?

just a little while ago I met admin @sage in a thread and realized I don't know all of our great moderators and admins and other people around to help us regular members out.

anyway, I'd love to see a thread like this if there isn't one yet, and if there isn't one...can we get one as a sticky?
with posts from every mod/admin/general boss person telling us a little about themselves and what areas of the forum they prefer to maintain/have the most knowledge of, so we know who to go to when we need help.

if there is one, can someone show me? thanks!! :)

Go to the Members button at the top, then find the Staff Members tab, and you'll see all of the mods and admins. :)

It's being discussed, so we'll see what the outcome is. Keep in mind you can also check our profile pages to find out about us as well. Most, if not all of us, have a little bit about us written under our information tab there. :)

Yes, but that's not what I'm suggesting. It'd be nice to know all of you better, and I'd love a thread (sticky) dedicated to that. I think it'd be a really helpful resource for new members, because I know that not knowing the people in charge can make them intimidating. It's nice to put a personality to a name/title. :)

@Xyphien, I'd love to hear your opinion! @sage thinks it's a good idea.

yeah haha it was so hidden! then when you guys mentioned it I was like, oh yeah I should look for that. I'll be around asking you guys random questions when I'm bored

I will work on my about me page for my profile, and I will continue to answer questions in the AMA thread as well. As for a meet the mods topic, if the staff agrees to do this, I will have no problem what so ever writing some stuff about me and what not. Right now I can tell you my favorite places to hang out on the forum are Javascript, MV Support, MV Talk, & the New Posts page lol. I am much like @eivl lately, I really love helping people out in the support forums and if it's all about scripting, I'm all for a discussion. That's what I got for you right now, give me time to work on the rest of the things over the next few days, I'm extremely busy right now.

Same here, @LTN Games, lol. My profile's all done, and I don't have a problem writing up a mini-bio.

Most of the MV Support topics are a bit over my head (read: Amy cannot script/event well), so I usually stick to stalking the Resource, Resource Requests, and Off Topic sections, among other things, while brainstorming ideas for the forum. I love helping out where I can, but I certainly know my limits!
