I am currently working on a demo of an RPG Maker MV game called The Eleathean Cycle: Chain of Power, or Chains of Power for short. The genre of the game is epic fantasy, and is inspired by the novels of Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan, Guy Gavriel Kay, JRR Tolkien, and others, as well as by games like Chrono Trigger/Cross, Xenogears, and Final Fantasy IX. I am in the process of acquiring custom character sprites, tiles, battlers, music, etc, as my disposable income allows. I have written a rough first draft of a novel based on the scenario of the game, but during the writing process, I came to realize that the tale would be better told as a game. Plus, I have found that I enjoy the experience of collaborating with talented artists and musicians more than the solitary task of writing and revising a prose work. I look forward to discovering interesting new games and creators in these forums.
