Hello everyone,

My name is Joe. I have been playing around with rpgmaker games for a long time now, but I have never completed a project due to how much time it takes to work on these projects alone. It is still one of my favorite hobbies and I am glad to be starting working with the newer engine.

Why not make a few short games, and then go into making larger games? I went years without finishing a game. That is until I finished a few demos and some short games for contests. Great to see you enjoy the hobby. Welcome to the forums Joe, and I look forward to seeing more of you around.

Welcome to the forum!

Glad to hear you decided to join us. Having worked with previous RM programs this one should come quite easily to you. @Jay is right, starting with small projects, then working your way into a larger project is a great way to help motivate you into completing a major game.

I hope to see you around!

Welcome!

I agree with @MinisterJay and @Akod. If you can't manage to finish a project (due to perhaps the scope being too large/too ambitious), making some short games would be recommended. Contests sometimes are great prompts to get you starting to make one.
Although this is coming from someone who hasn't finished a game either, not even small ones. XD I guess I need to take that advice, myself...

I'm looking forward to seeing your (future?) projects!

Yea I have yet to finish a game, but it is a great hobby, with all the creativeness it involves and thinking outside the box, I love it. Anyways I'm glad you could sign up and I look forward to seeing you around. Cheers (cheeky)
