Inspiration For Short Online Side-Game

It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I was inspired to create a small side-game (more an experiment to put online). But it kind of went a bit weird and I scrapped the original idea.

So I thought I'd put it to you guys to see what you come up with, based on the Title image alone. This can be first impressions (of the potential game), plot ideas, and so on. I'm not sure what will be included in the game, but we shall see.

It's said that curiosity killed the cat. Hmm...

I envision a scenario of lost identity. If you're doing an MMO, then each player is essentially claiming they are the true dragon, which would be more a title than a creature - therefore trying to prove it through some means.

That's a very interesting perspective. While it won't be an MMO, it could still use multiple characters aiming for the same goal. Each of these characters could be playable (or replayable if there's a single character select at the beginning of the game). It could be like the TV show Highlander, where there "can only be one", so eliminating the others ensures you will become the "true [titular] dragon".

That, or have the player play through a dream state of remembrance...

From the image, I also see a situation where the main character is found in a snow covered forest, in humanoid form and dying from exposure. The players arent given backstory - they play it. As they play, they learn the character is a dragon... and the reason for why they're in the woods in the state players initially are introduced. If the player successfully gets the character to remember who and what they are, they live on - a dragon re-empowerd and it can lead into an entirely new game. If the players arent successful, the character dies in the cold and later discovered by a passerby (also a dragon in humanoid form) - which means then that in the second tile, the passerby could be the main character and the one in the snow could be an NPC - this way, the continuity of the story in the second title isn't difficult to work around and use.

?

I dunno... just a thought that popped up briefly.

You could go and make a day-time related event that at night you turn into a dragon or a certain status intoxication level rises and you are cursed to turn into a dragon.

Other from that the first idea with a personality problem and a journey to find yourself is kinda like Tyrael from Diablo 3 - where he falls down to earth and does not remember he was an angel until he touches his sword.

You could play this out the same. In reality you are a dragon that was banned or lost his powers termporarily on an event to save mankind.

Kinda the same idea like ronin

Etc.
