I'm New & Working on Figuring Out MV If I Can XD

I'm actually working on three different games because I keep trying to do things that are beyond what I can figure out how to do. One game has a mechanic where the player characters and the enemies can fire projectiles on the map. I got it working ok but it doesn't ever work well enough. Whichever character is in the lead determines what type of projectile and each type could be used to solve puzzles like freezing water or using rocks to fill in a hole in the ground. I'm still working on getting the kinks ironed out. The problem is hit detection and getting a few of my ideas to work. For instance, I have a shield system as well, and it works ok but I can't get it to bounce projectiles back. I might have to give up on that idea. I have another game I'm working on that is part RPG and part shmup. It will also have a skill development system where your skills level up the more you use them. I actually already have that part implemented to some degree. I then decided to start work on what should be an easier game to develop since it wouldn't have too many crazy gimmicks in it. The only problem I'm having now is finding the right graphics. XD

As for beyond what you can figure out, we have an amazing community that's always down to help out those who are in need. If you'd like just go to the support section of the forum and ask any questions you might have there :D I'm sure people from all over will attempt to help you out!
 
Thanks, I will try that. I've been asking around, particularly when it comes to the on-map projectile project I've been working on, but haven't had much luck at other forums. I'll try here tho. I'm a bit worried that what I'm trying to do just isn't possible without making my own plugin (or someone else making it). I dunno. I've got most of it done with just events but I think that's why the hit detection isn't the best. XD
