I HATE MATH

I feel like it's man's greatest attempt to dissect the universe! Every time I learn math, I am like-- Yay! I did it. Ok. Now what? It's useless. I have no earthly ambition which would require math. Yet... I spend 90% of my time on a computer. lol

I am on the opposite spectrum. I am a numbers cruncher. My favorite subjects to teach are Science and Math, especially Business Math. Tutoring MBA students requires a grasp on financial math. My Psychology degree program had a lot of Statistics courses. I incorporate a lot of mathematics in creating new Battle outcome calculations.

I actually quite love maths! I used to be bad at it, but I think I kind of know how it works by now. I mean I am still not very good at it but it's fun to think and just look for a logical answer, sometimes there are even several possibilities to get to a solution... lololol, something i don't like is this f(x)=e³ kind of stuff, mewh. But somehow I still love it, I dunno. Like a love hate relationship and it's fun in a way

I'm neutral when it comes to math nonetheless the actual amount of time I need to personally use math is slim to none and I'm a programmer so that is saying something. Javascript already contains basic methods that do the work for you so the only time I see myself needing to use math will be when I create my own physics engine or something.

We're all using maths all the time. How many weeks is 10 days..? Yes, 1 week and 3 days. That's counting in Base 7. Not that hard, really..? How many dozen eggs is 60..? That's Base 12. Many folks get hung up just by the thought of it, but, in truth, once the bases are established, it's only a question of degree. I don't understand nuclear physics equations, either, but it's not difficult in itself, it's just a matter of starting from the beginning and working up slowly. Learning to throw darts is more difficult, I'd say.

I first fell in love with Math in the 7th grade. Our teacher taught us about the imaginary number i. It was the solution for figuring out the square roots of negative numbers. i = squ. root of -1. i squ. = -1. i to the fourth power = 1.

Oh god tell me about it Whats the point anyway man have already made calculators
When I taught Business Math, I did not allow calculators to be used on test. Yes, they may be beneficial for quickly finding the cosign or tangent solution, but it is best to have the knowledge stored in one's head. I debated a youth onetime, that was making the claim, that his younger brother's generation was the smartest since that had access to smart phones. I responded back, not necessarily. There is a difference between having access to a newer technology and being the smartest generation. Even in businesses, they have intentional dumbed down the requirement for knowing simple addition and subtraction. Many cashiers to do not know how to count change back to you. Some stores actually show the exact amount of each dollars and coins denominations to give the customer. I have also confronted different payroll clerks, that there were mathematical errors on my pay check. It is a benefit to know math, and not rely on technology so much.

I love math.

Once, in second grade, my teacher made a math joke.
No one in the class laughed - except me. That about sums it all up, I think

When I was picking my major for college, I had to decide between something artsy or math and science intensive (my main subjects). I picked engineering.

I finished all of the math pretty quickly, and now I miss it. It's just a straight-forward subject that I really like taking. Plus, it's all problem solving, and that makes it interesting. I do hate all of the work you have to do for the classes though. I don't like doing 20 math problems that take 5-30 minutes each.

I've was an assistant/math tutor for a summer program at my college for three years. It was fun stuff.
The guy in charge, the teacher, loved me because I found solved a bunch of unsolved problems in a handout he used. He complimented me so much.
