Hello fellow RPGMaker friends, I as you can seem am Tweeters. I figure myself some kind of creative storytelling, mind, looking to write and make a great game! I am new to RPGmaker, so if I ask or say something taboo here please have mercy and direct me to the right way of doing things.

My first and current project is a Shining force/Fire Emblemesque game (I hope). I look forward to working with you all!

Hi @Tweeters , and welcome to the community. What kind of writing do you like to do?
I enjoy writing medieval fantasy mostly. All novel's have just turned into short stories instead. Most of my larger writing is done for D&D games for my friends, designing grand story and writing down from there to individual histories of NPC and possible dialogues with them.

I'm a 1st edition AD&D player/DM (1983). Looking at buying the current edition for my son, wishing I still had all those 1st edition copies.

I've recently moved from 3.5e to 5e and it's taking quite some adjustment for me. Wizards of the Coast has really made the new edition simplified for the sake of storytelling and to help allow new players fit in easier without having to memorize and learn how to min/max. All in all its a fun time, and if you have previous experience as a DM you should be able to shape the rules to fit what you want to do with the game and story easy.
