How I Got Internet Access Today!

Okay so as I have said I was busy moving my friend this weekend (still am) and now that I am sitting in his new place with no internet all alone and playing with MV, I noticed my buddies neighbor (landlord) had some fiber optic high speed internet, so I created an adventure for myself, walk over, knock on door, offer 5 bucks for a day of internet and see what happens. So I woke up, I played with MV, I went to the store grabbed an energy drink ( totally not something I do often as in a health nut and energy drinks are not healthy at all) and on my way back knocked on door told the land lady I was all alone, her quick reply " are you scared" I laughed I said "yea, I want someone else over there with me" I laughed and said " I'm only joking, I was actually wondering if you would give me some internet for 5$ until I'm gone" to my surprise she replied " I don't need no money, come in I will get you password". So here I am on the best community playing with MV and happy I got some internet :) Mission accomplished!

Just though I would share because I'ts a fun story

You have a very nice landlady. The complete opposite of the one I had whilst doing a year (of many) of college, some years ago. Landlady rented me a room in the house, advertised with 'Internet included' with the rent. Got there, 2 months later she tells me her Internet package is only a 10-15gb (can't remember which) plan. For the whole house. She never needs more than that because she just e-mails and goes on Facebook, etc.

Long story short, she got Internet overage charges (because I use Youtube, I play online games, etc!), then cut me off. No more Internet.

For the next 4 months.

I couldn't get any other Internet there, either--I had to use my phone's internet as a hotspot router and restrict myself to the 4-5gb a month that provided--at very bad connection speeds/crappy phone, too. It wasn't a friendly fun time.

Anyway, congrats on the return to Web World!

that's what's up @LTN Games i agree with ya about energy drinks too. i'm no fan of that stuff.
but woot woot, good luck moving your buddy and have fun with mv! i'm still trying to figure things out myself.
