Yo!
I'm OldPat, an italian 21 years old IT student. My primary hobbies and main interests are Game Design and Drawing. I could not live without these two things in my life.
Since I'm starting translating my last Short game in English (link: http://www.rpgmakermv.co/threads/karma-flow-the-prototype-eng-wip.1510/), I've decided to start showing it to an international audience. So that you may help me with my poor English aswell. ;\
Hope you still consider RPG Maker 2003 a worthy software 'cause, well, that's what I'm still using.^^'
I'll post my drawings in the future (I'm just gonna leave my dA here for now: http://ssafropat.deviantart.com )

See ya all! ^^

@DarcHiro @Cunechan
Thank you! :D
2k3 is still my favourite RPG Maker, I simply like its retro-style and event programming system.
I've tried MV a bit and I still can't quite get over its graphic style^^'
But the addition of JavaScript makes it all the more interesting.

Hello and welcome to RMMV! ^_^ Hope you have fun and find what you are looking for here.

I'm pretty much all in with MV myself, I used to love 2003, but I've moved on because the newer ones helps with quicker development. It's not easy getting help with the older ones anymore. :(

Thank you too, Macro!^^ (Macro and... Micro? xD)
Yeah, is really difficult to deal with 2003, especially if you want to create something entirely different from a RPG.
For Karma Flow, the game I made that I'm currently translating, I had to deal with lots, lots, LOTS of problems (since I was making it for a contest and I had only one month and a half of development, I let you imagine how I felt :S). Stability, performance and things like that were the main issues. God bless Cherry, because the combination of plugins, that DynRPG made possible to use, made my life more easy for certain things (field of view and pathfinding).
The fact is, I still love 2003 retro graphic style. I can't imagine the dark and noir atmosphere of Karma Flow being reproduced on MV. This and I mostly like to work with a lower resolution. Also, even though I still haven't explored it completely on MV, I like 2003's event-programming system more.
But MV really is interesting, especially because of JavaScript and the fact that scripting is now more complex and extended.
Maybe one day I'll try something with it. Already messed around a bit with it but I seriously dislike that graphic style.
