Could you tell me what it is, such as theme, style, genre and such. Or it's top-secret thing? ^-^
It's in the very early stages, but here is what I am going for.
It's about a civilization at war during a technological time period matching the mid-late 1800s and the main character is from a family of inventors. He lives with his grandfather, uncle, and cousin. His dad is in the war and his uncle was unfit for service. His uncle invents the radio early on in the game. The main character wants to come up with a grand invention of his own and gets the idea for a flying machine after exploring some old ruins where he reads about the ancients that worshiped sky people. He keeps going to these ruins and reads about the ancient civilization and how they were capable of magic and all sorts of miracles and comes back every day to study and delve deeper into the place. He reads that they had flying machines that the sky people came out of and he reads about them and gets an idea of how to build one and tinkers a bit and eventually makes one. He shows his family, then the whole village he is from.
A week later after he feels on top of the world about his accomplishment he comes home to some people from the military at his house. They tell him his father died, and that he can help avenge his death by assisting them into using his flying machine and making more of them for the army so they can have an advantage over the enemy. He decides to join them and he learns about how the ancient civilization didn't have magic, they had advanced technology and that they want to explore more of these ruins to learn more. As time progresses the discoveries lead to the combustion engine, electricity, and all sorts of technological wonders. Years pass, eventually they find a deep buried fortress. It looks like it was destroyed from the inside. As they explore he finds out nuclear physics and how to split the atom. They begin to research this new scientific field. Eventually the first atom bomb is made and tested.
The war is being lost and now a defensive war. The country is an island nation and they use the water and walls to their advantage and use their flying machines to enter and exit from the walled off nation since the enemy can't make them, but they have canons and basic firearms. Eventually the King and his council decide it is time. The enemy has their entire fleet coming up the main bay to storm the fortress that the king is commanding from and they decide to drop the bomb on them while they are entering the bay. The bomb goes off and shortly after the sky fills with spaceships. An alien race heard your uncle's radiowaves from years ago and then as they came closer they picked up the neutrino emissions from the nuclear weapons going off. They then tell the story of your people's lost history and how your entire race was about to explore space and explore a nearby planet that's in an "cambrian explosion" era similar to Earth, but one nuclear war sent them back to the stone age.
A lot of inspiration for this comes from Star Ocean and the deep-end of Elder Scrolls lore. The Star Ocean stuff for the first half, the metaphysics of Elder Scrolls for the last.

That's awesome! I have two friends that may get involved with me and one is good with music and the other is a good painter and at drawing, but she has never done anything digitally.
