Hello all,
As you might have noticed i used the first Words you learn at programing in my Title.
This is intended as i'm new into making Games.
First of all i want to learn more about how to use the program but on the other Hand i feel really limited with all the Sounds and Tilesets used by default in the RPG Maker MV.
Instead of creating new Tilesets and making own Music i will first off try to do some Games with all the things provided here.

Since i love to write Storys and love Story based Games aswell this is what i want to focus on in my Games.

If you want to help me learning about the program, i will gladly take advice from your experience.

My tip would be (if you are quite new to RPG Maker) is to learn how to use "Loops" in conversations.
If you want to have lots of dialog first learn how to loop. It will save you hours and make things so much more easy to read
if you ever need to change anything :)

Also when making a game I have a "Test Map" where I try new dialog and try out events, switch's, puzzles, a place where you have your chests, doors, etc so you can copy and paste them on your other maps at ease.

Well they are my two top tips :)

Tip three! when you are mapping, you can hold down the right mouse button and drag across the map to copy anything you have already placed. To place the copy press and hold the left mouse button and drag.

Welcome to insanity @SirSwing. This is an awesome community, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I promise we don't bite...unless you press the action button. ;)

@Azdak
Thank you for the Tips. Beside knowing some of these due to the countless Tutorials i watched so far, i really appreciate your effort to write them here.
The idea with a Test Map seems pretty good and after i tried it it even becomes a better thing i will stick to.

@Lore
Thank you. I will ask in the near future a lot of questions so be sure to be around then to answer some to.
Basically then the community is going to eat me easily so far because i use the default Action Button called Enter quite a lot. :O

No problem dude, tutorial's on YouTube are great! Be it for RPG maker, learning the guitar or hammock weaving!

This is an incredibly friendly place and if you have any problems or idea's that you are not sure how to do, then just ask
around. There are so many genuinely nice people on here that can help you.
