I am a professor working on introducing Video Game Design as a major at my college. I chose RPG Maker MV to teach my students how to make video games. I am also utilizing the game engine to create my very own game which I plan to release commercially by the end of 2016 (along with a series of novels). My other interests include, but are not limited to, the Gym, Video Games, Fantasy Books, Family Guy, Simpsons, Locked up, Investigation Discovery, Tosh.0, Impractical Jokers, South Park, Ultimate Fighter, Boxing... Sushi, Steak and Potatoes, etc.

If you want even more exposure, you can put your demos and games here, in the Resource Forum. It will get you more exposure than just putting them in Introductions. There is also unlimited downloads here. :)

Thanks! I made the introduction then I did create a thread in early production forum... check it out. In that forum I included the Game Guide. If you think there is another place I should post the demo, I am all ears. I would love to increase exposure to my game. Keep in mind this is the very first demo and I will continue to work hard until its commercial release in 5 months. I plan to have some fun promotional campaigns for the game once I am done with demo 2. I plan to put up $300+ up in contest money, etc.

Anyway, this is the first time I've seen an actual video game design professional on an online forum. I must admit, I am both sceptical and curious but I think it's a wonderful idea to use RM as a means to teach game design. Well, at least the basics anyway. If you want to prepare your students for the gaming industry that won't be enough. But I'm sure you're aware of that. ^_^

@Kaimen lol. I just thought it would grab some attention... its true! I am a professor. I teach video game development at a community college. I am working with the college to begin a video game development degree at the college. I teach at North Shore Community College in Lynn, MA. Look me up (Frederick Miranda)! I am also the STEM program coordinator at the college. ;0) I use RPG maker MV to introduce the students to programming and to give them a very small taste of what its like to make your own game.

I think you will bring a lot more coolness and professionalism around here~ there are a lot of us who want to make our own games, but we're so lazy/busy/whatever that we just haven't made a demo yet. it's great to see your enthusiastic attitude towards game design!

@Micro Thank you for the warm welcome Micro! I am working hard on the game and I will not stop until its ready to be sold. It's easy to work on the game when its part of my job lol. I created a thread in the forum for new early production games, check it out if you have a chance, and please feel free to share and promote the game if you like the game and are excited about its potential. I am always looking for new people to check out the game to give me feedback, constructive criticism, etc.
