Hello everyone!

I am crescom, from Barcelona. I am studying game development and as a final project I want to make a game. I looked into this software and I really liked it so I purchased a copy on Steam. I am a complete noob at it, so please be gentle xD.

I have started playing around with the software, and my game will be about a man who suddenly wakes up in a prison and does not know why. That’s up to the player to find out!!

I joined the forum so I could get some ideas, and get help from all you experts.

wow, that's an interesting background, I didn't even know you can specifically study game development (though it does make sense). Are you allowed to make a game with rmmv for the project? I assume when studying game development you will be rather quick to get into RM, it is good to grasp imo.

The story sounds solid to me, not overly innovative but a nice and secure way to get a player interested.

You will probably find a lot of inspiration and help here. So, I wish you good luck and success, as well as a nice time in the forums!

The degree is computer engineering but focused on game development. I have spoken to the teacher and he agreed on letting me use the software. Other classmates use Unity or Gamemaker. I realy like the style of games RM lets you make so I decided to give it a go.
And of course one of the main reasons that made decide this software is the great community and forums.
Hopefully I can finish the project and present an alright game!

That's exactly what I though the first time I launched the software. Even if you have no experience you are able to play around and learn by doing, which in my opinion is really cool!

Im sure once I start making my project, multiple questions and doubts will pop up.
