Hello, everyone!
I'm called sodajerk, but don't worry, I try to be rather friendly. I enjoy making games with strong, straight-forward main quest lines, yet deeper world-building side quests and mechanics that allow the player to help craft their characters and the world around them instead of leaving it all up to the developer.
I dream of making games where you can "pick up and play", save the day, and beat the big bad, or take some time to visit seemingly irrelevant villages and learn more about how the political system works and perhaps alter the main story line as your character grows in maturity and their own understanding of the situation.
I got to know VX Ace inside and out, and I graduated from VX Ace to MV just a few weeks ago. As I really enjoy the community here, I am looking to pitch a hand to anyone who might need some help with their project while learning from those around me.
I like to learn about scripting and optimizing mechanics as these are my weakest development skills, and want to absorb some information from the veterans around the forum. Meanwhile, I would like to think of myself as relatively skilled at storyboarding, writing, and world-building, and want to give back wherever I can!
