How did you get started with pixel art?
Oooo excellent question. (cheeky)

I believe it all started about 20 years ago when I was working with RPG Maker 95 (Oh them we're the days (cute))...
...and well it had some limitations to say the least lol. (jolly)(wink)

I always wanted to see something in my game that wasn't available anywhere so I decided to open up the "Mchip" files (aka. tilesets) and play around ended up with some decent results. Then many moons later I found G.I.M.P. and that just really worked wonders, ever since I've just been fooling around making all kinds of neat graphics. (wink)

There were a few phases in between such as M.U.G.E.N. which had Fighter Factory & also GameMaker that I also dabbled a bit with.

Edit:
Actually now that I really think about it. I can trace it all the way back to DOS, I had to code the pixels for my very simple games with Data blocks (ex. 00 = black, 01 = blue 1A = orange, etc.). Really crude looking but it worked. lol

...and somewhere down the line I got really hooked on Q-Basic, which again used mainly Datablocks for pixel art.

DOS, I thought I was one of the few forums elders that dabbled with that. What was your first computer?
Oh my... hmm.. let me think about that for a sec...
Ok I think I remeber now, I believe it was a IBM PC but I barely used it and then shortly after I remember my parents got a laptop (I think in 1990) not sure what kind or anything though really but all I really remeber is Floppy Disk Games were amazing back then and it only had DOS on it.
I remember playing games like Isle of the Dead all the time.

Cookies or ice cream ? *stare intensifies (girly)
Both of course! lol (glad) Cookies & Cream: Favorite Ice-cream of all time! (cute)
If I absolute had to pick though it would be Ice cream all the way. (cool)

This was a test and you succeeded(cheeky) Well, more it's actually more like the best answer possible, whatever. Soo, since you're always posting multicolored things which one is your favorite color if you have to decide (puppy eyes)?

Oh gosh, now the really hard questions come out... hmmm....
That's very hard to choose... if I absolutely had to choose... I would probably say the more green ones but I'm really kinda partial to red & black things also.

So the hunter has become the contributor? (That's not the AMA though. (wink))

What do you like about RPG Maker MV Resources and Forum, that cannot be found elsewhere?

Ahahaha lol Yes indeed (cheeky)(cool)

Oh I love this question. (glad)

Reasons I like "RPG Maker MV Resources and Forum" over other forums:
  1. The friendly/helpful community & staff
  2. Very organized layout
  3. Dedicated mainly to MV
  4. Forum is well maintained
  5. Badge system is well thought out
  6. Excellent Resource Layout
  7. Profile setup process is a nice touch
  8. "Like System" is more than just simply "like"
  9. Double Posts get auto-merged
  10. Uses BBCode so I can see what's really going on
Sure there's always room for improvement but all in all a very nice site. (cute)(thumbsup)
Great work! (right)(hella)
