Game Pad D-Pad Movement

Right now I am practicing with VX Ace and I see that it has gamepad support (which is nice) however, I cannot move using the D-Pad. This isn't extremely important other than I just would like to use the d-pad as preference.

Will MV support both the analogue and d-pad movement?

Also for the sake of mentioning it, I am using an xbox 360 controller via USB as my game pad.

I believe there's a way to customize it in your way when you launch the game or the game test by pressing F1 or F something. I don't remember which one, and then you can set the imput according to your joypad buttons with the A, B, C, X etc. commands. It's being a whiiiiiiile though, so I don't remember it well ^^"

Unfortunately you cannot specify in the program to change movement buttons. This was in VX ace also. Have not tested gamepad in MV

I'll have to check it out myself and si if I can find anything related to the gamepad ^^

Edit: I tried my technique and it looks like RPG Maker MV doesn't support Joypad imputs like it was possible in VX Ace. Why in the eff did they dropped that?!! :'(

I found a gamepad plugin, but it does not have the option of changing the directional buttons from analog stick.

Too bad it doesn't at least config for both Cross and Analog, like that it gives more options for people's preference ^^

Easy, you right click on the page where the code is written and you "save as", and you should have the JS format. :D
