@Micro I look forward to any generator you make, so yeah name generator would certainly be a plus! Most of the time I wind up reusing names I've used before cause I run out of ideas xP that's where that would come in handy. Character descriptions would be pretty cool to see as well.

A world generator would be quite a bit more lengthy and difficult unless you did like a region description idea which could work out. And people could just combine a bunch of similar regions to make their world. It's an idea lol. But yeah that would be a big challenge for a "generator" to handle I think.

Hm, some other ideas that could be useful might be animal species (made up ones with simple descriptions), different terms for weather and common objects (if anyone ever wanted to make stuff up like in Farscape with their randomly named objects that we knew to be normal items that they named differently), and another idea that could be pretty cool would be Paradoxes (like a descriptive short backstory of a paradox event that happened in some world etc.) I don't see many generators or writers that do things like that too commonly, so it could be a neat idea if anyone and yourself would want that heh.

All these generators should be in one program. Game in a bucket, press random and get a hand full of characters a setting a struggle/major plot point and all that and have everyone try and make a game outta whatever it spits out lol.

That would prove to be pretty hard xD I don't know if I could do that. It would be like someone putting random food on your table and telling you to make something delicious out of it. XD if the food wouldn't match in any way you would end up making a complete disaster instead of a delicious meal :P so maybe the generator shouldn't be all too random. An idea would be that certain parts would be organized into genres like fantasy, medieval, scifi etc. to make sure that you at least get a matching setting and plotline.

@Isaac The Red That would be awesome, I unfortunately don't know how to make such a generator though. @Mr. Trivel made the simple one I am using currently, and I don't want to bug him too much haha. But this is a cool idea, so I may ask him about it. Thanks for the idea. =)

@Fynnmellex Why must the dragon be evil? I shall make no evil dragons in my generators! Anyway, if you don't want someone to borrow your ideas, can you please take them out of your post? xD; Your post is a bit hard on the eyes since it's a huge wall of text.

Nah, I don't mind. I just joked around, trying to explain that all too random generation of content could be somehow difficult to assemble into something usable and got carried away (that happens to me quite often. I like to call it "the writers handicap" xD). I'll take it out anyway though, just to make it easier for all of you xD If you want to use any of this, (be it whatever part you like: Maybe change the dragon into something else, and have the dragon be an ally instead, well: It's up to you :D) just holler and I'll gladly rewrite it in detail to you. :D

OK, stepping away from the generator stuff for a moment...

@DarcHiro requested that I create some items with "funny" descriptions, so I went ahead and wracked my brain trying to make stuff that would hopefully at least make you guys crack a small smile. (Or even roll your eyes at the cheesiness.) I'll be including the completed list in the RT Package, but I wanted to share a few of them here with you guys as a preview.

Some of them are terrible puns, some are me trying my best to be funny, and some are just... well, plain terrible. But hey, it's all in good fun!

Anyway, here are a few of my favorite (and not-so-favorite) ones:
Bone Blade - I've got a bone to pick with you.
Lettuce - Lettuce not forget the most important sandwich ingredient.
Legendary Sword - It's only legendary because I said so.
The Grater - Show your enemies a grate time!
Bone Spear - This ain't no funny bone, friend.
Big Crush - I've got a BIG crush on you. / Let enemies know about your not-so-secret crush.
(note that the / means there is an alternate description idea)
Shovel - Help your enemies get their other foot in the grave.
Double Barrel Shotgun - Double-barrel peril. / Double trouble.
Chopper - Good for chopping veggies, weeds and limbs. / Chop your enemies down to size!
Shortbow - You might hurt its feelings if you call it short. / It prefers to be called "Stout Bow".
Playing Cards - Destroy your enemies with a thousand paper cuts.
Fancy Clothes - Dress to impress.
Star Pendant - Unfortunately, it's not made of real stars.

I know these are pretty corny overall, but....yeah. Just wanted to let you know what else I've been working on. =)

Lettuce not forget to always have fun! Ha ha ha... ok, I'm out for now. I'll be thinking of what else I can work on some other time...

Those were terrible. And by that I mean those were pretty great, I do enjoy myself some puns. They'd be perfect for a goofy, lighthearted game. Good job. =)

Holy cheesus these are good! Lettuce all agree that these are corny, but good!
I go all clammy just thinking about them!

(Was trying to think of various food puns for my post)

There isn't anything wrong with having a character name that coincidentally happens to match with another one. Now if someone is ripping the same exact character and claiming it as their own original character, then yea, there would be a problem.
It can even happen in same game. There was a series called Newhart, and Larry would always introduce his brothers, this way, "Hi, I'm Larry; this is my brother Darryl, and this is my other brother Darryl."
