Yes 1 difference, You get too have one steam version and one standalone version when purchasing from RMWeb, but you only get the 1 steam version when purchasing from steam.

I find it to be a pretty amazing breakthrough for RPG Makers. It changed itself from using Ruby scripting to Javascript. This alone allows it the capability to be played on just about any device which is why it was also mentioned as just that, you can play it anywhere now even on HTML5. They definitely went a long way and made it more capable of getting to the public. Because of this too, i'm sure they might have gotten rid of their RTP so less space, quicker downloads, more plays. Wish they woul've done this along time ago. ^_^
