I know I've been late to ask this question. But it's better now than never to understand or see if there's any solution about this issue. I was wondering why the avatar's limit was 50 kb instead of 100 kb at least. I wonder if it's due to the forum's limitation itself or if it was your decision to do so. I had to shrink my avatar smaller than 200px to decrease its size, and the result looks extremely gimpy. Anyway, I can wait for the answer so no rush ^^

Everything I've used has been 200x200 pixels, and I haven't had a ever had a problem with the size.

That being said, I think it could be raised easily.

For odd reasons, my draws mostly exceed 60 if not 70 KB when resized to 200px. And PNG should have been the lightest in term of file size, and keep the picture to its original quality.

Oh and by the way, thanks for taking your time to answer ^^

I just checked, and my pictures are not 200x200. They're more like 500x500.
They are just under 200 KB as well.

I also checked the admin panel, and it says that registered users have unlimited file size.

You should be able to upload any size picture. Try using a different large image and see if it works.
