Sup peeps, I wanted to make an art thread to show my progress and get some feedback on what is going into my game.

Really nice perspective on those! Seems like some good manga/comic book setups there.

I'm too shy to post my stuff to be honest. I have already been ripped to shreds (by bullies posing as critics) in the past.

(aww)(cry) *hugs* Don't be afraid! No hate here. Everyone has their own art style, you just have to define it and make it your own.

Next time, even if you hate it, go ahead and put it up! That way people can give you tips on how to improve on it. I know it's scary, but it would probably be worth it! As for me, I fill everything in with flat colors first, then add shadow and highlights with the pen tool (I use Illustrator). But I know there are waaaaayyy better ways to do it. Just have to learn them.

I'm not much of a digital painter, but I wanna learn it better. Only way to do that is put stuff out there and take the useful advice you can.

It's definitely not the best, but it's something, and I can learn from it! :-D

@Kerux I don't know how I feel about Ctrl Paint, but I am willing to try it. The guys is pretty amazing at what he does. Thanks for the info Kerux, you da man!

@HumanBlue There are plenty of other programs besides those two. Depends on what suits you better. :) The rest is up to your skills and willing to learn the interface and capability of the program you decide to use.
Nice faceset, btw!
