Well hello, everyone.
Who I am~
My name is Jeremy and I'm a nuclear mechanic in the US Navy (At least for a little bit longer). Through the navy I've seen many places and many things, from the Shinkansen (Japanese bullet train) to the Sydney Opera House (Australlia) and pretty much any interesting country in south-easter Asia. Despite all these exciting events, including meeting my amazing wife in Yokosuka, Japan, I've decided to move on to the next part of my life and this includes returning to my old hobbies, one of them being a game designer and story writer.
My Contribution to the Community~
Not sure exactly what I can add here, to be honest. I've very loosely worked with every editor since Don Miguel's release of Rm2k in the US back when I was in the fifth grade. My experience at event development and story writing could be considered intermediate at best but I plan to rectify that while I am working with Enterbrain's new build, RMMV. I have been considering working on a project with a team if anyone would have me.
My Personal Plans and Story
Ever since I was 16, I've had a character in mind and a massive, in-depth story that I want to place into a game or movie format but life has really taken me through circles, not allowing me to truly flesh out her story. While this would probably discourage anyone from wanting to team up with me on the development of her story, I ask that if anyone is interested in teaming up with me on the development of her story, please contact me. The level of detail and in-depth background story has been in development for eight years but most of her major development has only come into play over the last year due to my desire to join a Pathfinder campaign using her as my character. Unfortunately the Navy has made it very difficult to play so I simply have a TON of raw plotting and development.
Requests from the Community
While I am in the Navy, I won't be able to do much in this department, to be honest. I can work with people but my schedule for this next year is hectic between random deployments and fighting with immigration to get my Japanese wife into the US... beside the fact that I need to get a job lined up before I get out. Feel free to message me with any questions you have and I will try my best to work with you but please be patient with my response time. I have at least 2 months on shore right now so I will be active for a bit but who knows, plans change with the news and all that chaos happening in this crazy world!
My personal requests from the community will likely be far and wide as I return to the game making scene. Without my main laptop, I've been unable to get back into the swing of Photoshop, Corel Paint Shop Pro and basically any other game editing aid I used to have. Working from a Surface Pro 3 is great and all but I don't have access to any of my program licenses now. If at any point I appear to be asking too much of the community, feel free to PM me and let me know. A lot of it comes from working in close proximity to a lot of angry mechanics in a very tight space for long periods of time, haha. Got a bit of a sailor's mouth but that's what makes chatting on here better than chatting in person, aigh?
Closing
I look forward to working with the community and everyone else out there over the coming years and hope to provide well for you guys while receiving from you as well. I hope everyone had a happy new year and whatever other holiday you celebrate! I'll be seeing you soon! :)
