Back from a 12 year break =)

I used to work in the game industry for years. Then one day 12 years ago my first child was on the way and decided to leave the gaming industry for good and said my goodbyes to Stratics and EA. 12 years later my kids are now into games and my daughter while looking in a 20 year old backup came across some of my old unfinished work I was doing as a private project and totally forgot about. After she read some of the storyline, she begged me to finish it so started to do some research and discovered that a program I thought long gone was still in existence and now much improved and going strong. I started making calls and sending emails and just about everything has been given the green light, so going ahead in completing the game I started 20 years ago.

Ahh what a rush! To resurrect an old art and introduce it to your kids, sounds like a lot of fun to me and for your kid to demand you finish it, makes me wonder how epic of a game it will really be.
