Greetings.
There is a difference between telling you about a story and telling you how you fit in to that story. After all, we're making games, not writing books.
Telling a story is telling you something that has happened or something that is going to happen. Something you're not apart of.
However if I say: "Fight alongside General Vesqa in his Imperial Army and help defeat The Red Lady!" -- I have involved you.
Opposed to: "General Vesqa and his Imperial army face off against The Red Lady in the battle of The Mythra Gate!" -- Where are you here?
Both of these statements are telling a story, but one of them involves the player. They are two different styles of telling a story. I'm not saying one is greater than the other, however one sounds like you're playing the story. I just wanted to share this with you to give you an idea of different ways to market your game and at the same time tell a story.
