A Story of many Tales

Greetings!

I never know where to start in these types of introductions but let me start here: I am a newb.

But hey, we all have to start somewhere right?

I've dabbled in RPG Maker MV on and off since March of this year. Never sitting down and properly setting out a storyline, just instead playing with the program and learning it. Now that I have understanding of how much of the program works, I'm prepared to sit down, and work at it, work long hard hours into a video game that I crafted, with the love and care of my heart and share it with the world. I mean, at least that's what I hope.

My problem is though? I'm always so busy. I have a boyfriend and two cats. I work on call 24/7 (refrigeration). I'm opening a new business (soaps and candles ya'll). Now, this doesn't give me any excuses to hang up my hat, or put a game on hiatus, so I decided immersing myself within a community will benefit me, it may push me to be my very best, or it may at least give me enough inspiration to get even a half hour worth of work done on my most tired of days.

I believe community is key to a lot of things, so I look forward to working with you all.

What I have now are a story idea (and partially written storyline), a set idea of how I want my main characters to look and an amazing program. Now, I'm a twenty-two year old girl with big dreams. So you can expect romance and angst out of my creations, if nothing else. If that's not your style, that's cool, but don't hate on me for it. I love criticism, hate bullies. I also love working alongside amazing people! So I have great hopes here. <3

one idea is to use your blog (check the blog section and you'll see!) as running dev log for your project. that can help keep you focused and it'll keep people apprised of where you are in your project.

i've received an enormous amount of real help -- not just "keep going, you're great" -- from this community and i can honestly say that you're in the right place if you're looking for a supportive network. we can't do it for you, but we can help you through the rough patches and we'll be happy to do it.

best wishes on all your projects!
