The forum is always very slow for me (it usually takes 4x longer to load than other sites), but yeah, it does seem extra laggy today.

The sentiment is good, but the only possible thing you did wrong was not being 100% clear with what you meant in that thread. There's nothing else you need to apologize for. It was clear you were being lighthearted with your comment, and it was overreacted to.

Apparently there are a lot of issues with deploying for Mac at the moment - from what I've heard you can't actually deploy for Mac from the Mac version of MV.

Not sure if you mean you're trying to run OS X or run something like Virtual Box on it, but there is a version of Virtual Box for Mac (for free, I believe). Personally, I use Parallels, but it costs money.
